After the Monsoon
401 Studio

Submitted to AIA Cote Top Ten Competition
Wrapped in beautiful terracotta pots that store water to keep the atmosphere around the building cool, “After the Monsoon” looks to bring resilient and water-conscious solutions to Indigenous communities in an era of worsening conditions due to climate change. With the primary function and program as a Water Resilience Lab, the center will also include an extensive archive and community exhibitions on the Tohono O’odham and the Santa Cruz river, which runs through the site.
